"Lettre de Birmingham" New song dedicated to the memory of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

In this difficult period, it is important to find examples of tenacity and courage. Recently I discovered the Letter from the Birmingham Jail, written by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and I was deeply touched. I wrote this song in tribute to his memory and in hope of shining some light in this dark time. The song is inspired and dedicated to this giant of non-violent resistance and winner of the Nobel Peace Prize and is being released on the anniversary of his birth. It refers to the Selma March of 1965 and more particularly to March 7, 1965. On that day six hundred peaceful protestors crossed the Edmund Pettus bridge in Selma, Alabama fighting for the right to vote for African-Americans and brought on a new era in American history.
